Former NHL captain Blake Wheeler knows what it means to lead when the stakes are high. Over a career spanning more than 1,100 NHL games, Wheeler went from professional athlete to team captain, becoming one of the most prolific players in Winnipeg Jets’ franchise history. Today, he’s taking those lessons beyond the ice as an executive coach, helping leaders and teams perform at a higher level.
At the 2027 Supply-Build Canada Showcase, Wheeler will share the experiences that shaped his approach to performance and leadership — and what his journey taught him about discipline, resilience, accountability, vision and the responsibility that comes with leading others.
